The new skin tool everyone is talking about

Sunscreen is the number one anti-ageing face cream. It can stop the signs of premature ageing, brown spots and skin cancers. But how do you know if it's protecting your skin like it claims it will? With the help of a special high-tech camera finally we can see what sunscreen looks like on the skin under UV light. Find out more.

This latest technology is a camera from Sunscreenr the brainchild of American entrepreneur David Cohen founder and CEO. It works by showing you what skin looks like without sunscreen, which is not pretty (even jaw-dropping) for some. It can detect the damage under your skin (mainly freckles and dark spots) before you see it on your face, and also show you the effect sunscreen has on skin when applied correctly. And while this type of camera technology does exist in some doctors' offices and spas across the globe, offering skin imaging to anyone is pretty exciting stuff. The company Sunscreenr has just made a deal on ABC's Shark Tank, with Kevin O'Leary for $800,000 to get the product into homes around the world and keep skin safe from sun damage. The company says they will start shipping the camera's in December.

Check out this incredible video below to see this type of amazing technology in action. It made us think about not leaving home without slathering our skin with an SPF.

We showed people what they looked like in ultraviolet, & wondered aloud if they wanted to put on some damn sunscreen already. https://twitter.com/thomasleveritt Music: 'Summer in the City - Starcadian remix' by Freedom Fry http://freedomfry.bandcamp.com/track/summer-in-the-city-starcadian-remix They are awesome.
