Fashion Files

Spring styles are hitting stores now. So the team at BeautyEQ decided to showcase new season fashion and how to wear it in their own individual way. Our series, 'Fashion Files' features New Zealand labels, kicking off with World where we chose the statement Sicily blazer - dressed up and down.

I love the multiple colours in this jacket that allow me to style it with even more colour. I chose a pencil skirt to keep the look streamline and a tied scarf to layer more colour. I've kept my hair as a smooth bob for a professional edge.

I buy a new statement blazer each season, and the colours on this piece were so appealing as an option I could wear to work or for a more casual look. I also like the texture, which is why I teamed it with a tan leather A line skirt, metallic boots and a nude silk camisole. Teamed with bronze makeup and a nude lip this is my nod to stylish, power dressing for an important meeting.

I love teaming a blazer with a simple white tee and jeans for a chic, yet dressed down look. Adding a simple stiletto gives this look some edge. I adore the colours in this blazer, which work so well with denim and when the sleeves are pushed up you get a peek of the animal print lining which is a pattern I have a weakness for. I would also wear this look for an evening out but add a bold red lip.
