Why We Love Peroni

After serving Peroni at our recent festive celebrations we are inspired to be more creative with this luxe-y Italian beer. Style director Louise Hilsz serves up some colourful cocktails.

The team at BeautyEQ put Peroni to the test making three delicious summer-inspired cocktails women will love.

PERONI NEGRONI

Peroni negroni

Ingredients

  • 50ml Campari

  • 50ml Martini Rosso

  • 50ml Peroni Nastro Azzurro

  • 15ml orange juice

  • 1 wedge orange, to garnish

  • 1 handful ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Pour ingredients into a glass, over ice.

  2. Stir and add an orange wedge and edible flowers to garnish.

PERONI GOLD RUSH

Peroni Gold Rush cocktail

Ingredients

  • Peroni Nastro Azzurro

  • 2 figs

  • 15ml honey syrup

  • 15ml lemon juice

  • Dash of walnut bitters

  • Lemon peel

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle figs with honey syrup, add lemon juice and ice and shake vigorously.

  2. Fill tall glass with new ice and add Peroni gently.

  3. Add 3 drops of walnut bitters (or Angostura).

  4. Garnish with lemon peel.

PERONI SPRITZ

Peroni Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Prosecco

  • 35ml Aperol

  • 50ml lime juice

  • 100ml Peroni Nastro Azzuro 

  • Lime wedge

Instructions:

  • Add the Aperol, lime juice and prosecco.

  • Top off with the Peroni and ice, using long handle spoon mix all the ingredients.

  • Garnish with the lime wedge, and sit back for the rest of the night to enjoy.
