Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells Rose Drop Overnight Peel, $225
What is it?
Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells Rose Drop Overnight Peel, $225.
Designed to address one of the most searched beauty questions- 'how to get glowing skin' there is nothing quite like this new evening ritual. Harnessing the knowledge of 'beauty sleep' and how skin regenerates at night, this new bi-phase exfoliating oil targets skin renewal - while nourishing your complexion.
What's in it?
The blend of yellow-tinted rose, Argan and white mahogany seed oils float on the top, while the gentle exfoliating ingredient a low dose glycolic acid sits in the pink liquid at the bottom of the bottle, which blend when shaken. According to Lancome, this bi-phase oil is safe enough to use on the most sensitive of skins.
How to use it?
The goodness in this water-like oil is activated once you shake the bottle and the two parts blend. Next, pump a few drops into the palm of your hand before massaging it into a clean face (avoiding the eye and lip area) Then as you would a night cream, leave it on overnight.
Why do we like it?
While we would all like to achieve that lit-from-within looking complexion overnight, the first thing you will notice is a smooth and silky feel to the skin after a few weeks of using this treatment. We love the little pump bottle (great for travel) that houses a blend of skin goodies that gives off a mild woody scent that is courtesy off the rose, lily of the valley, patchouli, lavender and geranium. Night five and our editor swears by this liquid gold - ten out of ten Lancôme for getting us excited about what is usually a pretty slapdash evening skincare routine.
