Skincare benefits in a radiance-making foundation base are courtesy of a high-tech complex known as Skingenecell, which features the wild Japanese herb Enmei. Treasured in Japan for its renewal properties, (also found in the brands Future Solution LX skincare line) it helps boost skin radiance and hydration. That as the base, blended with time match powder that adjusts according to your skin's oil production, and photochromic pigments that become more or less luminous, depending on the UV light you are in. There’s also three anti-ageing, protective plant extracts, Oshima Sakura (cherry blossom) leaf, Angelica root, and Uji green tea extract, all working to protect and perfect your complexion. Finally, an active ingredient known as 4MSK, helps to control melanin (dark pigment) production in the skin, keeping brown spots at bay. Together in one formula, this makes for one hell of a foundation with benefits that go well beyond makeup.

Designed for anyone who wants a long-wearing, luminous finish to their makeup; however, if you’ve got dry or dull-looking skin and need a foundation that hydrates, this compact is for you. I am glad I did not give up on cushion foundations, they are so portable and easy to use, (I use a foundation brush, to buff it on my skin, and touch-up with the sponge provided during the day). When it comes to coverage and consistency it’s faultless - even after you wash it off your skin feels smooth and looks hydrated, which is a first for me.
