Designer Elie Saab's name is synonymous with glamour. A red-carpet favourite with A-listers including Angelina Jolie, Rihanna, and Mila Kunis to name a few - he’s one designer whose name is synonymous with luxury. He has the remarkable ability to create clothes that make women feel beautiful - and he’s also pretty good at whipping up a pretty fragrance. His latest a rich, ambery perfume is striking, not only to look at but the blend of heady blooms, make it a welcome contrast to the fresh, white floral scents around for summer.
What’s in it.
Known as a floral chypre, it’s full of orange blossom and patchouli that gives it an air of luxury, while mandarin and the most exotic rose combination include Turkish rose absolute and Bulgarian rose, give it a feminine edge. The addition of neroli from the designer's homeland, blended with woody amber, sandalwood, and vanilla make it exceptional.
Why do we like it?
This perfume will make an impression on anyone that gets close enough to smell your skin - it truly does envelope you in a cloud of opulence. I can only imagine it would be the same feeling when wearing one of Saab's dreamy dresses - I wish. Making fragrance was always part of the Saab business plan, and just like his couture designs, he sums up the impact his scent has on anyone who wears it. "Just as with my dresses, I want to bring beauty to every woman’s life.”
