Celebrity beauty lines are nothing new. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics, and now Oscar-winning diva, Lady Gaga is teasing us with Haus Laboratories on Instagram. Editor Trudi Brewer shares why this new range is the answer to Gaga's lifelong struggle to feel beautiful.
Makeup is an extension of your style; it's alluring and empowering, an accessory that Lady Gaga is keen to cash in on, with the launch of her new line Haus Laboratories. Recently teased on Instagram, the star said, “Sometimes beauty doesn't come naturally from within. But I'm so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn't know I had.” The brand Haus Laboratories launches online in September (you can pre-order from July 15), and is the work of a 15-strong team, who collaborated with the star on every product.
From colourful, iridescent makeup to hydrating skincare, Gaga's makeup artist and close friend, Sarah Tanno, was also part of that team. Her post on Instagram said, "To do this with my best friend and my muse has been one of the most gratifying experiences. I hope you all feel very empowered by what we have created and love yourself. Art is subjective; it's how you see yourself."
Rumour has it the first release will be a multi-purpose, six-shade palette for the cheeks, eyes, and lips, ($49 US), and a shimmery lip gloss collection ($16 US).

Haus Laboratories will be the first beauty brand to sell exclusively through Amazon from September. However, Haus Laboratories will be available for pre-order from July 15.
