A celebration of bubbles with beauty was the theme at Gusto at the Grand in Auckland on Saturday, October 17. Hosted by editor Trudi Brewer, who welcomed guests to the restaurant for an afternoon of discovery so they could try and buy the latest hair and beauty innovations.

Champagne & Food
Guests enjoyed Champagne from Piper Heidsieck who are celebrating 100 years since prohibition with their pretty and delicious Rose Savage, which was on offer all afternoon. The red fruits are ideal for anyone who prefers a crisp, yet dry-styled Champagne. Cute story, the founder, Florens-Louis Heidsieck, created this Champagne style for Marie Antoinette. It became her bubbles of choice to serve at her illustrious parties - perfect for an afternoon of Bubbles and Beauty. Best dressed on the day won the gorgeous beauty-inspired coolers from Piper Heidsieck for chilling their Champagne this summer to the perfect temperature.

Dr.Lewinns
A brilliant solution-based skincare brand, Dr.Lewinns shared how calming the new Recoverëderm range can be for anyone at any age suffering from sensitive skin. Our guests got to discover the range try the products while getting a chance to ask those burning beauty questions on how to take care of their skin this summer.
Me Today
Every woman can relate to that feeling of running on empty. The team at Me Today shared how to look and feel your best, with a range of natural Supplements for any concern. While this brand is famous for products that help you achieve beauty from within, the new additions to the range, divine, natural Vitamin Serums and luxurious Botanical Oils help give your skin an instant healthy glow.

Tangle Teezer
A hairbrush for any hair type is on offer from Tangle Teezer. And their latest is designed to speed up your blow-drying time each morning. Vented, it helps to dry your hair quickly, maintaining the shine and body. Stylist Cameron Grimshaw shared his tips on how to style your hair at home, after creating the hair looks on our models backstage using a range of different Tangle Teezer brushes.
Nude by Nature
One of our favourite 100 per cent natural makeup brands, is Nude by Nature. Our guests learnt how to buff on mineral makeup, to get an airbrushed look to your skin. Our models were sporting a summery bronze glow from this versatile beauty brand.
OPI
Nails are the polish every woman needs to look and feel her best. The new collection OPI Muse of Milan was the extra hint of pretty colour our guests were happy to queue for at the event. From silver glitter tips to a feature nail, our artists were busy all afternoon creating unique looks to suit every guest.
Hugo Boss
Hugo Boss for you or him was on offer at Bubbles & Beauty. Boss Alive by Hugo Boss is a fruity, woody floral fragrance created for women who love life. While the Men's BOSS BOTTLED Infinite completes this luxurious fragrance offering. Also, a woody fragrance with a touch of fruit and spice, it’s the warm blend of olivewood and sandalwood, that made this fragrance a hit on the day.

Heart of the City
One of our passions at BeautyEQ is fashion. The perfect time to shop local, our Style director Louise Hilsz curated 16 spring looks from stores in the Heart of Auckland City. From Queen St to the leafy open-air shopping experience at Britomart, where you will find some of our best New Zealand designers. And onto Commercial Bay, the most recent shopping precinct in Auckland City. It’s there you will find international fashion and beauty brands along with cuisine to tempt any taste. The selection of the latest spring fashion, inspired by our dress code of the day, Sex in the City.
Our gorgeous guests
Thank you to our stunning guests who arrived early, and eager to party. Each styled to our dress code Sex in the City - inspired by the TV romantic comedy series. This was the perfect motivation they needed to get in the mood to have a great afternoon with their BFF’s.
