It's like stepping into the garden of your dreams if you love flowers. The latest Gucci Bloom, Profumo di Fiori, (which means fragrance of flowers in English) is dedicated to nature. Blended by Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas with close direction from Gucci's Alessandro Michele, as the name suggests, it should remind you of a thriving garden in summer full of intoxicating blooms.

What's in it?
From the moment you spritz it on, the scent of jasmine Sambac absolute, and Rangoon creeper, ( a small red blossom, similar in scent to jasmine that grows all over Asia, is the base to all the Gucci Bloom fragrances), drift from your wrist followed by heady, rich, tuberose, jasmine bud extract and Ylang Ylang. After an hour that greenness softens, to reveal creamy depth from the blend of sandalwood, sun-drenched wood accord, orris, benzoin and musk.
Why do I like it?
It's truly is a celebration of flowers, which has the power to make you feel nothing but joy. Flowers, after all, are natures extroverts, and in this fragrance, Gucci has used some the most exotic. Flowers are also the symbol of life and love possibly why floral fragrance has such enormous appeal. This new Bloom is lush a wildly unique, for me, it smells like summer, bottled. That vibrancy is reflected in the bottle, a sunny yellow, designed to evoke feelings of vitality and happiness. Adorned with the Gucci label framed in bold black, the box is decorated with the classic Gucci Toile de Jouy Herbarium House print of leaves, cherry branches and flowers - I guess you have worked out by now - I am a massive fan.
