Daisy always reminds me of my BFF. I think she has almost every bottle lined up on her dresser; you can safely say she is a Daisy devotee. When I asked her why she was such a die-hard fan, she told me, "It always smells so fresh and clean; it's the perfect everyday fragrance. Much like those comfortable jeans that have become my go-to wardrobe staple." What more could a girl want, right? Maybe another Daisy to add to that collection. Read on to learn more.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Intense comes in two sizes, 50ml, $129, 100ml, $159.

What's in it?

If you're a Daisy fan, you will be pleased to know this version is still a fresh floral but one that is supposed to conjure up the aroma of "warm sunsets over lush fields of daisy's." That was the intention of the nose, Alberto Morillas's, who has made some of the most memorable scents for some of the most luxurious brands. From Givenchy to Gucci, Calvin Klein and Cartier, and 31 Daisy fragrances since 2007. The blend of strawberry, pear and bergamot; with the signature heady bloom, jasmine, and sweet honey, with amber and musky, rose. Finally, what is left to linger on your wrist is the touch of vanilla and crisp green moss.

Why do we like it?

Daisy is iconic and youthful, and after all these years, it has earned a spot in the fragrance hall of fame as a classic. If you don't fall in love with the metallic, gold and glass bottle, you will fall for the warm, amber floral scent inside or the familiar yet charming, signature white flower petal cap. Daisy has been a massive success. At the same time, every new flanker takes something from the original (the sweet scent of jasmine is in every Daisy fragrance), which is why women gravitate toward it season after season. It's always a pretty floral scent to wear; familiar, ultra-feminine and cosy - a little bit like those favourite jeans. Back to my friend and her Daisy obsession, I know once she gets her hands on Eau So Intense, she will fall in love with this 2021 version - all over again.
