Don't you love it when one of your favourite fragrances comes back, due to customer demand? Well, that's exactly what Bvlgari have done with Eau Parfumée Collection. There are a couple of old favourites, (mine is au thé vert) with each was inspired by the aroma of a different tea, you can tell they are sisters, all part of one big happy, affluent family, but there are subtle differences.
The collection is made up of four unisex fragrances; au thé vert, au thé blanc, au thé bleu and au thé rouge, as I mentioned (my fave) au the vert, has notes of coriander, orange blossom and bergamot, it has not changed at all. And for someone who loves a fresh green scent, it's so easy to wear. While the au thé blanc, takes on its aroma from white tea, there is also a blend of musk and jasmine. The au thé bleu on the other hand, is inspired by Oolong tea then mixed with lavender, grapefruit and iris. And finally, perhaps the most sensual of all four is au thé rouge, a blend of red bush tea (South African Rooibos tea) it certainly dials up the heat with the blend of orange, pink pepper and bergamot.
It was like stepping back in time sniffing au thé vert again; it's still up there as one of my favourite fragrances after many years of being absent - however it's nice that this new collection offers a wardrobe of options.
