What is it?
A simple skincare routine that includes a gentle foaming gel cleanser and extra nourishing lotion. Both are perfect for dry and sensitive skins and can be used on the face and body.
What's in it?
Avène thermal spring water is the base to this range and the reason it's so soothing. That water along with plant oils, ceramides, essential fatty acids and castor oil work in harmony to restore the skin's protective barrier. Simply put this means moisture is locked into the skin and the its barrier stays protected from temperature extremes.
How to use it?
The cleansing gel is brilliant in the shower for daily use. It removes makeup quickly and doesn't leave skin feeling tight and dry like many gel cleansers can. The lotion is ideal to slather on the skin the moment you step out of the shower; and brilliant post shaving legs. I like to use it on my face after applying a serum on slightly damp skin.
Why do we like?
I suffer from itchy, dry skin during winter. However, after using this combination for the past six weeks my skin has never felt so good. Smooth, nourished and firm - I am itch-free. I love that this combination can be used on the face and body - I am time poor so it really suits me. I layer a face oil or serum underneath the lotion each day just to add that anti-ageing boost.
