You may think all soap is created equal. Not so, there is one award-winning cake that keeps lifting the bar. Editor Trudi Brewer shares the latest range from luxe Italian brand Nesti Dante.
A family affair Nesti Dante has been crafting soap since 1947. Steeped in Italian tradition it all began over 70 years ago in a garage, equiped with a 50-litre cauldron. Today that family of soap makers are still going strong, and are one of only two Italian factories that still use the Marseille soap-making method.
Fast forward to 2018 and the brand has expanded their offering to meet the demands of women today. Including a range of liquid soaps, candles and just launched in Italy hand-crafted bespoke fragrance (we will keep you posted when they hit our shores).
The latest range of soap bars is called 'The Dolce Vivere' with each soap a tribute to their motherland, featuring nine iconic Italian destinations. Venezia, Capri, Sardegna, Portofino, Roma, Firenze, Lago di Como, Pisa, Milano each soap costs $13.50.
If you have no intention of jetting off to this Mediterranean playground anytime soon, these soaps will transport you to that sun-drenched destination, by filling your bathroom and your senses with gorgeous aromas.
