Feel on top of your fashion game with summers most wanted colour - white. From the best cut of jeans to a shoe that combines comfort and style to a 70's-inspired dress. Editor Trudi Brewer shares the virtues of wearing white.
The Jeans
Jeans are my go-to wardrobe staple and this season it's all about detail. From studs to textured hems a well-cut pair of white jeans is a wardrobe essential. Figure flattering on any shape, and uber-youthful, here's my go-to pair for summer.
Loobie's Story Capri jean, $249. Loobie's Story Starry night top, $299. Birkenstock Madrid-Flor, $120. Gucci Cat eye acetate sunglasses with stars, $1320.
The Blouse
Seek out a sexy silhouette with feminine floaty sleeves, or embroidered detail. Wear it loose with a tailored wide-leg pant or skinny jeans, and sneakers. You will be reaching for this wardrobe basic at least once a week.
Ruby Aria blouse, $189. Cooper Mary Cherry pant, $299. Tory Sport Ruffle sneaker, $344. Deadly Ponies Mr Tulip, $725.
The Dress
Don't discount wearing white for any event. Much like black, it's neutral and works with nearly every print, or textured fabric on offer this season. When it comes to accessories, match it with metallics in gold, silver or bronze.
Zimmermann tempest doily dress, $850. Four Corners Champagne Statement earrings, $99. Steven Greece slides, $120. Triumph Pure Luxury Underwire Padded Multiway Bra, $55.
The Beauty
Get that 'European holiday look' with glowing skin, a lightly bronzed body and a pop of fresh fruity colour. It's the perfect look for wearing poolside, at a cocktail event or casual for the weekends. Here are some of my summer staples.
OPI Pops Pop Culture Nail Lacquer, $21. ST. Tropez Purity Bronzing Water Mousse, $59. Max Factor Creme Bronzer in Gold, $25. Marc Jacobs Daisy Love EDT, from $78.
