CK EVERYONE

They say trends go full circle, and when American fashion brand Calvin Klein launched CK ONE, back in 1994, it was a rule breaker. Fast forward to 2020, and the unisex fashion brand synonymous with freedom, rebellion, and validation strikes again with the next chapter in the CK scent story. In essence, we think it's relevant for right now - here’s why you are going to love CK EVERYONE.

Calvin Klein CK EVERYONE, 100 ml $89.

Think of Calvin Klein fashion and black and white is the colour palette with shades of grey. Think of Calvin Klein fragrance, and it's all about clean, fresh scents that can be worn by you or the one you love. This latest is no exception; the iconic fragrance CK ONE has a friend, and it’s lifted the fragrance bar pretty high. First, it's environmentally conscious, and the blend of ingredients, of which 79 per cent are naturally derived, including the alcohol is a first. Its name speaks volumes and is one that resonates with every age and any race, from baby boomers to millennials and the Gen Z's. Here's what you can expect.

CK EVERYONE celebrates authenticity, individualism, and, most importantly, that inclusive, gender-neutral spirit, something we believe every brand today should try and emulate.

What's in it?

That familiar, citrus remains, (it’s the base to CK ONE as well), and it’s thanks to orange oil, with the addition of spicy ginger. Next, is the scent of blue tea and fresh watery notes, and finally, cedarwood with a touch of patchouli and musk. Spanish perfumer Alberto Morillas was the creator of this new fragrance (he also made CK ONE), and his goal was to maintain that familiar freshness while adding a boost of newfound energy.

 Why do we like it?

Not only does it speak to that gender-neutral Gen-Z crowd, but anyone of any age can also wear it. Every layer of this new fragrance was well appointed. It's vegan, and the natural ingredients tick that 'clean' fragrance box. The glass bottle is recyclable (once you remove the pump), as is the cardboard it's boxed in, and the soy-based ink. Finally, the elastic logo band pays homage to the iconic Calvin Klein Underwear (soon those boxers are about to become unisex as well), that too is reusable, it doubles as a wrist band and a hair tie. We see so many new fragrances - some make it, and some don't. This new project, from what is a well-established brandcelebrates authenticity, individualism, and, most importantly, that inclusive, gender-neutral spirit, something we believe every brand today should try and emulate.

Calvin Klein CK Everyone, is available in 50ml, $69 and 100 ml $89.
