One of our favourite and most unassuming pop superstar’s of all time is Australian Kylie Minogue, says editor Trudi Brewer, who shares her latest collaboration - a juicy French-style Rosé.

Her name is synonymous with fame and fashion, and an elegant Rosé Vin de France very soon. When Kylie Minogue broke through with the hit single The Loco-Motion in the late '80s, her climb to stardom was quick. Now her gold-plated, award-winning status has made her a dance-pop icon for all ages, and her latest venture is one our editor is sure to love - Rosé Vin de France.
Kylie Minogue Rosé, $25 will be launching nationwide in New Zealand at New World and Glengarry Wines on September the 13th.
It's not Minogue's first foray into wine. The Rose project has taken two years, the singer-songwriter said. "I have a great passion for rosé and have loved working for the last two years on developing Kylie Minogue Wines. Working with the brilliant team at Benchmark Drinks, we have created a Rosé that I am truly enamoured by; it's fresh, light and the perfect pin." Next month (September 13), officially launches the new 2020 vintage featuring Rosés. The new vintage joins her collection of Organic Brut Reserva Cava, the Signature Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot, along with a multi-award-winning Margaret River Chardonnay. "It has been a privilege collaborating with Kylie to bring her rosé vision to life. Kylie's exquisite taste and refined palate made it a dream to develop this bespoke rosé blend, creating a beautifully elegant wine, which reflects the character of Kylie Minogue," says Paul Schaafsma, from Benchmark Drinks.
Minogue's new signature Rosé Vin de France is made from Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from the sun-drenched southern French Coast, a region known for its innovative viticulture. According to Schaafsma from Benchmark Drinks, "The new Rosé Vin de France is juicy and fresh from the first sip, and in a pretty pale pink shade. It evokes the alluring aromas of fresh summer berries and white blossom, refined and refreshing on the palate with a fruity, crisp finish." Launched in the UK on May, 28th 2020, to coincide with Minogue's birthday, just fifteen months on, Kylie's new Rosé collection of wines has sold over two million bottles across fourteen countries, and we are next to get a taste of the Rosé Vin de France.
From Monday, September 13, 2021, Kylie's Rosè, $25 will be distributed by Hancocks Wine, Spirit & Beer Merchants and can be found in New World and Glengarry Wines nationally - and we can't wait to get our hands on a bottle.
