Here’s how to shape, groom and define your eyebrows at any age.

Groom your natural shape

All brow artist believe, the natural shape of your brows is your best shape or life. For example, square faces suit thicker brows with high arches, while flat eyebrows with a low arch look great on longer face shapes. For a round face, keep your brows on the fuller side with structure, and a lift to the arch. Getting back to your birth shape may mean a few months without tweezing, and we suggest a brow consultation to determine where the brows begin and end, where the arch should be, and how high it should reach. This is how you get a perfect brow shape that frames your eyes and suits your face as you age.

Find the Arch

To determine where your natural arch should be, place a pencil in a straight line upward from the outside of your nose against the brow; this is where your brow should begin. To groom the arch, follow a diagonal line from the outside edge of your nose and across the middle of your eye; this is where to groom the arch to add lift to the brow. Finally, to determine where your brow should end, follow a diagonal line from the outside of your nose to the outer corner of your eye. Length is significant; this is what gives your brow an elegant, youthful look and even proportion.

Groom your style

Trends come and go, and while a fuller brow is definitely our go-to, a well-groomed brow is always in style. If you do nothing else add some gel to your brows. This will help tame those unruly brows, and give subtle definitions while adding a sheen that makes the nails look healthy. For a more permanent well-groomed look to your brows try a Brow Lift or brow lamination, essentially a perm that adds lift and definition to every hair. Learn more here
