Chloé L'Eau de Parfum Lumineuse, $212.
At the heart of every Chloé fragrance is the scent of musky rose. This latest perfume is no different. It features that timeless bloom, boosted by sweet vanilla and amber, heightened by velvety jasmine. That combination of ingredients makes for a lovely floral fragrance with a feminine edge. But more than a gorgeous scent, collectors die for Chloé’s vintage-inspired glass bottles with the hand-tied ribbon, this time in beige, stitched with delicate pink thread. In keeping with the brand’s sustainable ethics, the bottle uses 25 per cent recycled glass, and that pretty ribbon is made of 100 per cent recycled polyester.
Gisou Honey Infused Lip Oil Strawberry Sorbet, $54.
This lip oil is made to drench your lips with a swipe of strawberry colour while saturating them with hydrating Mirsalehi honey from the Gisou bee gardens in the Netherlands. That delicious honey is blended with hyaluronic acid, jojoba, and meadowfoam seed oils. We can not get enough of the all-day hydration and gorgeous wearable colour. There are four new shades.
SHISEIDO VITAL PERFECTION UPLIFTING AND FIRMING ADVANCED CREAM, 50ML, $195.
This face cream has so many benefits. First, it’s the ingredients. SafflowerRed, grown only in Yamagata, in Japan, and according to Shiseido, has a stabilising effect on the blood vessel structure in the skin. It also blurs dark spots and wrinkles and firms facial sagging - who doesn’t want that? It also hosts a wonderland of antioxidants, too. Ginseng root boosts collagen production and strengthens the skin's moisture barrier, while Chinese date (Ziziphus jujuba) extract beats the battle of pigmentation, firming simultaneously. Finally, caffeine is the kickstart dull skin needs to look brighter. Now, to the feel, it’s luxuriously hydrating, and a little goes a long way. This cream is a day and night moisturiser for skin that needs rejuvenation.
Essano Hydration+ Micellar Makeup Remover, $16.
Who doesn’t love a cheeky beauty buy? This clever micellar water is available with your weekly supermarket shop. Made with purified or soft water and cleansing magnets known as micelles, it’s also stacked with rosehip oil and hyaluronic acid to live up to its name of Hydration+. Anyone can use micellar water regardless of skin type or age; it’s perfect for removing sunscreen build-up and pore-clogging infallible makeup formulas. Also, this micellar water is excellent for cleaning your makeup brushes too.
Oribe Gold Lust Dry Heat Protection Spray, $77.
Frizzy hair is a killer for me, and it seems to strike all year round, regardless of the weather. The latest from luxe-y brand Oribe takes the heat out of styling and the frizz out of your mane. A spritz on dry hair provides 450°F (yep, that’s right, the hottest of styling tools) heat protection while protecting the hair with plant collagen, caffeine, biotin, and niacinamide, as well as coconut water and marine algae extract. Most importantly, it eliminates frizz, making your hair satin-like.
MAC MACXIMAL SIL, $46.
MAC is famous for making great lippy; now, there is another to add to your collection. A silky matte that feels like a creamy, hydrating lipstick but lasts on the lips for hours. Made from a blend of coconut oil, organic shea butter, and cocoa butter, whipped with a non-fading, long-lasting pigment. It’s a full-coverage lipstick in 40 famous and new shades, and to top it off, it also has that fab signature vanilla scent MAC lipsticks are renowned for. Pictured here is Velvet Teddy.
A designer scent laced with vanilla.
