A hot brush is a hybrid hair tool that works just like a hairbrush, but it has a built-in heat straightener that helps to smooth your style hair or boost volume, but most importantly, that just-got-out-of bed look, and reduce that dreaded frizz.

What is it?

Theorie Saga Thermal Styling Brush, $184 heats in seconds to smooth hair eliminating static and frizz

How does it work?

Created to give hair the same smooth finish as a hot iron but without that poker-straight, lifeless look. It's the patented TitanSculpt technology in the bristles that heat in seconds and leave hair looking shiny and bouncy. Ideal for any hair type (but great for anyone that struggles with frizz and uncontrollable wave like me) it will extend your blow-dry by three days.

How do you use it?

Turn on the heating temperature, which heats to 210 degrees, 150 is perfect for fine hair and 180 for thick hair. Use on dry hair, you simply brush the hair the from roots to the ends slowly. I also wrap sections of hair around the brush to flick out or curl under at the ends.

Why do we like it?

Armed with this hot tool you can achieve a salon-style finish at home. And if you are anything like me and race out the door forgetting to turn off your hot tools - this hot brush has an automatic shut off feature.
