What’s in it?
The brand calls this scent an oriental vanilla, but we also think it’s fruity with a floral twist. The first spritz has honey, plum, and rhubarb, followed by golden amber woods, a hot-right-now ingredient. The nod to flowers is orange blossom, and the lasting notes are creamy vanilla and rich patchouli.

Why do we like it?
Jacobs has always said, “I don’t think you can make rules about fragrance,” and we could not agree more. Perfect Elixir is summery but could easily be worn by a raging fire on a chilly winter evening. The juxtaposition of tart rhubarb and orange flower with creamy honey and vanilla makes it universally appealing to any designer fragrance lover.
