For me, a new designer fragrance always gets my attention. Brands like Hugo Boss strive to make a style statement with everything they create, including their portfolio for fragrance. This newbie is no different from their latest 2022 fashion collection, which celebrates you as 'your own boss'. Their latest is a blend of heady orange blossom with pink pepper. Popular in fragrance-making, pink pepper adds a sharp, spicy edge, which brings fiery freshness to this perfume. Once mixed with vetiver (which reminds me of lemongrass), warm akigalawood (extracted with patchouli oil), and patchouli extract, this fragrance quickly becomes a woody, spicy masterpiece.

For a starter, both The Scent Le Parfum are potent fragrances for him and her. They both boast a twenty per cent concentration of fragrance oils, which means they both last for hours once in the skin. Boss The Scent Le Parfum for Him juxtaposes soft and tough ingredients that give it a sophisticated charm. The brands say it's an ''Exquisite iris and leather twist on the unforgettable ambery signature''. Then, add vibrant ginger and Maninka fruit (which experts say smells like strawberries dipped in chocolate). It does have an aphrodisiac quality, thanks to that collection of fine ingredients all in one scent.
Why do I like it?
