Calvin Klein CK Everyone Eau de Parfum

The launch of CK ONE back in 1994 cemented American fashion brand Calvin Klein's reputation as a rule-breaking rebel. Since then, popularity for its gender-neutral fragrance has never waned, and the latest continues to embrace diversity and sustainability. Find out why you must try Calvin Klein CK Everyone Eau de Parfum, says editor Trudi Brewer.

There is something familiar about all the CK scents; they're clean and easy to wear regardless of gender. But the latest is an ambitious project that has set a clean, green roadmap for the future of Calvin Klein. To the newbie, a tribute to sustainability and a testament to the brand's commitment to creating 'beauty that lasts.' CK Everyone, Eau de Parfum, is Cradle to Cradle certified, to a gold standard. It ticks all five critical areas for sustainability, and it's the only fragrance on shelves right now to achieve that by safely and responsibly using renewable energy, reducing harmful emissions while safeguarding clean water and healthy soils. It meets the clean air and climate protection standard while enabling a circular economy through regenerative products, packaging and process design. Finally, its social fairness or EQ is also on point, contributing to a just and equitable society - in short, it's good for the planet and its people - while smelling divine.

What’s in it?

While it is longer-lasting (an Eau de Parfum), it's still a simple scent composition. All 77 per cent of the ingredients are from natural origin, including the naturally-derived alcohol, while paying homage to the original CK One, which featured green tea. At the same time, it's blue tea in the 2020 CK Everyone Eau de toilette. This time, Sri Lankan black tea in this vegan formulation adds the touch of spice. Blended with organic Mexican orange and zesty vetiver, ethically sourced from Haiti, you have the very best of the past CK scents with a vibrant nod to the future. Finally, that classic bottle uses 10 per cent post-consumer recycled glass, and the carton is 30 per cent post-consumer recycled.

Why do we like it?

What's not to like about a tangy burst of happiness when you spritz or splash this fragrance on your skin. Like its sister scent that hit shelves in 2020, CK Everyone also has the elastic logo band on the bottle, a nod to the eternally comfortable Calvin Klein Underwear (also gender-neutral). It, too, is reusable if you ever need an emergency hair tie? So even though the masses love CK scents, the way this fragrance makes us smile and feel nostalgic, we think it deserves a special spot in your scent collection.
