Revlon's Skinlights is back

I am calling it Revlon’s cult favourite Skinlights Face Glow Illuminator is the reason glow-giving primers exist. And guess what? It’s back and better than ever says editor Trudi Brewer.

Who doesn’t like a cheeky beauty buy that delivers on its promise? Well, here is one that every woman should own. This legendary glow-giving liquid goodness in a tube was a favourite of mine when it first hit beauty counters in 2016. That’s because nothing like it existed at that time. Because of that, it had a cult following almost overnight. Makeup artists, celebrities and beauty editors could not believe their luck. This silky shimmer blended with any skin tone, making every complexion look amazing - in any light (even when it wasn’t perfect). Then one day, in the mid-noughties, it vanished from cosmetic counters - I was gutted. For years, Skinlights was coveted on eBay; women with stashes got big money from devotees, also devastated it had been discontinued. But now it’s back and here to stay, fingers crossed.

What is it?

Dare I say it; it's better than the original. Skinlights Face Glow Illuminator is your primer, highlighter, and glow-giving skin booster. Stacked with mica powders that create those light-reflecting properties and skincare benefits such as vitamin C and E, glycerine, lemon extract and castor oil.

How to use it: Sheer yet buildable, this shimmery lotion can be mixed with your moisturiser to create a tinted skin boost or added to foundation to add luminosity. Used as a primer, it will correct dullness before applying foundation or tap it onto the cheekbones and along the bridge of the nose.

SkinLights Face Glow Illuminator is available in two shades: Sunrise Luster (pictured here) and Sunburst Bronze (a tan.
