What’s in it?
A dream team of perfumers Fanny Bal, Anne Flipo, and Dominique Ropion, worked on this new fresh version of Givenchy’s Irresistible, Fraiche. A contrast of spicy and powdery notes thanks to the overload of rose. Harvested at dawn in the Isparta Mountains in Turkey, the rose used in this scent goes through innovative water upcycling process to extract a potent musky aroma. Combined with sweet orange oil, spicy pink pepper, iris and honey-like white musk and cedar, it’s become a modern floral masterpiece. In line with a more sustainable scent, this couture-inspired bottle contains 11 per cent recycled glass, with the perfect finishing touch of a light beige ribbon wrapped around the neck. Finally, even the carton is considered, made with sustainably sourced paper from FSC-certified forests.

Why do I like it?
A rose-based fragrance will surprise even those who swear they don't love the scent of roses. This one evokes that hard-to-find feeling of comfort and nostalgia, without being nana or too sweet. It has an especially fresh feeling, thanks to the citrus and cedar blend. But it’s the tension-softening white musk that may make it the most charming fragrance of 2022.
