Discover all the action from our recent BeautyEQ Long Lunch, July 1st Mantells Tamaki Drive. An exquisite venue for our midwinter Long Lunch, situated in the heart of Auckland City. Hosted by editor Trudi Brewer. Shoe designer Kathryn Wilson was our guest speaker and style director Louise Hilsz styled her stunning new season of footwear in a runway show. It was an afternoon of food, fashion, and fun.
BeautyEQ Long Lunch at Bracu Estate 2022
Bracu Estate feels a world away from every day, like a Tuscan olive grove, but it's only 40 minutes from Auckland CBD. We spent four hours with our delightful guests, sipping a collection of the reserve wines from Brancott Estate with a delicious complementing menu. Our guests were greeted with exquisite Bracu Estate olive oils and warm focaccia bread, followed by lamb adorned with sweet potato chips and red wine jus on a kumara sweet potato mash accompanied by a crisp green salad and baby potatoes. The reserve collection of wines matched every course; as always, we provided delectable vegetarian and vegan options. We hosted beauty panels from Alterna Haircare, Elizabeth Arden, St. Tropez, and Pure Fiji. Our fashion shows are carefully curated by style director Louise Hilsz and designed to inspire your every need.
BeautyEQ Long Lunch at Mantells 2021
We were lucky to have a brilliantly sunny day for our mid-winter BeautyEQ long lunch. Each guest received a glass of Piper Heidsieck Champagne on arrival, followed by a glass of room temperature Jules Taylor Pinot Noir, accompanying bread and dips to snack on. With the first course of salmon on Israeli fritter, our guests chose between Jules Taylor Chardonnay or Rose. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicious plum and hazelnut cheesecake. Our guest speaker was designer Adrian Hailwood, and it was from his collection that we enjoyed our first fashion show. Our beauty panel for the day included advice and products from My Hairdresser, Adashiko, Off & On, and Manicare.
BeautyEQ Long Lunch at Orakei Bay 2021
What better way to kick off Mother's Day weekend than attending a long lunch with your ladies, friends, mamas, and daughters? We provided the perfect setting to unwind, serving our guests a glass of Brancott Estate Sparkling Brut Cuvée on arrival and enjoying a delicious antipasti platter followed by herb-encrusted chicken breast with seasonal vegetables. Dress For Success, a charity designed to help ladies achieve and thrive in economic independence, received all of Brancott's proceeds. The highlight of the day was our special guest Dame Trelise Cooper, who shared beauty secrets, business advice, and a whole lot of her unbeatable charm.
Fashion in the Vines Long Lunch at The Hunting Lodge 2020
All 160 guests that attended our Long Lunch at Waimauku's The Hunting Lodge in November 2020 had three courses that complemented The Hunting Lodge's selection of wines; many hearts were won by The Hunting Lodge Pinot Noir. A line-up of interior inspiration, the season's fashions, and beauty innovations. We hosted two salon-style runway shows and partnered with some of the top beauty brands, hairdressers, and a registered dietician for an exemplary panel discussion.
Bubbles & Beauty Long Lunch at The Officers Mess 2020
We enjoyed a day of sunshine and stunning views of Rangitoto, sipping bubbles while seeing the latest fashion and beauty updates with friends at Fort Takapuna's The Officer's Mess. Our guests sipped Piper Heidsieck Champagne and a cheeky cosmo or two throughout the day, delicious canapés, cheese and meat platters, and impressive desserts. The services and cuisine at The Officer's Mess were immaculate. It was also the perfect day to launch the newest innovation in sunscreen from Avène. As well as the latest innovations from Clinicians, Clinic 42, Guerlain, MOR Boutique, and Tan Organic.
Bubbles & Beauty Long Lunch at Gusto at the Grand 2020
We celebrated the joy with bubbles at our October 2020 event with Piper Heidsieck's delicious Rose Savage for our guests to enjoy all afternoon. There were plenty more options for our guests to engage with on the beauty side of things, including stalls with Dr. Lewinns, Me Today, Glam Lashes, Smile Makers, Tangle Teezer, Nude By Nature, OPI, and Hugo Boss. The theme for our fashion show was Heart of the City, featuring items from 16 CBD stores. Our guests came dressed to impress - perfectly fitting in as Sex and the City ladies.

The BeautyEQ family and friends enjoyed an afternoon of wine, interiors, food, fashion, and beauty at Villa Maria Estate. Our guests enjoyed wine from Villa Maria's new Platinum range, learned the latest in interior trends from Warwick Fabrics' Meg Sinclair, and learned about the latest innovations from Moroccanoil from their ambassador Pete Beckett. Avène and nail lacquer Smith & Cult completed our offering with some excellent beauty tips.
