Oral care is on the rise beyond brushing your pearly whites twice a day; this beauty category, yes, it’s now part of the growing industry that is self-care, from swanky dental destinations that are more like a beauty spa than the dreaded dentist. Home care and sci-fi gadgets grew to $9.7 billion last year, with toothpaste, toothbrushes and mouthwash as the top three products, according to research company Nielsen says it’s expected to be worth more than $99.78 billion globally by 2030. It looks more like a premium skin serum than a brightening emulsion for your teeth. But, like the colour-correcting technology in a purple shampoo to brighten brassy locks, this serum was made to whiten every tooth. With two water-soluble dyes in a deep violet tone with a fresh peppermint taste, the good news is it works within weeks.
HAAN Good On Ya Toothpaste, $14.
The 97 per cent natural ingredients of prebiotic inulin and calcium, with eucalyptus, mint and herbal essences, are superfoods for your gums. It prevents bacteria build-up while whitening and freshening your smile.

You can drop some serious coin on an electric toothbrush these days, and the purveyors of ultra-advanced skin cleansing tools just launched a high-tech toothbrush.
