How did you come up with the concept of Elevate?

We wanted to develop a product to maximise the penetration and effectiveness of the skincare already on everyone's bathroom shelves. It helps to improve skin texture by reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores and gives your skin a youthful glow.

How is Elevate a multi-purpose product?

Tailor Elevate is a multi-functional mask, time, money, and space saver. It works as a gentle exfoliator, breaking down the glue that holds dead skin cells together, a skin-prep mask, and a powerful booster that enhances the effectiveness of your serums and moisturisers. What is the ingredient lineup?

It’s packed with a powerhouse blend of natural ingredients, including fruit acids (natural AHAs), finger lime extract, marshmallow root, Kakadu plum, and pentavitin ( a plant-derived carbohydrate). We’ve also included some of our tried-and-true favourites from the Tailor range, like glycerin, hemp seed oil, and shea butter, which benefit the skin and give Elevate its luxurious, soft, buttery texture and colour.

What does finger lime extract do for the skin?

Finger lime extract is rich with natural AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) that gently exfoliate the skin's surface, boost cell turnover, and stimulate collagen production, resulting in a brighter, more even complexion. As your skin ages, this is particularly beneficial as it helps counteract the natural slowdown in cell turnover.

How do you use Elevate?

It’s so simple to use: apply a thin layer to freshly washed damp skin (damp skin acts like a sponge, quickly absorbing anything you apply). Then let it sit for three to five minutes, and gently remove it with a damp towel. Then, follow up with your favourite serums and moisturisers.

I’m across the virtues of creamy sleeping masks and the convenience of a sheet mask, but a mask that makes every other skincare product you use better - was news. Elevate not only contains active radiance-boosting ingredients but also gently exfoliating. I wanted to see if Elevate (cool name, BTW Tailor) worked. So here's how I found it. Firstly, it smells divine, creamy and buttery; it is the custard colour and smells like that creamy dessert. It’s up to you how often you use it, but given its lightweight formula, it glides over the skin, and a little goes a long way. Warning: the results are pretty addictive. Hence, I am using it twice a week. It has made my tried-looking skin look and feel instantly better, almost overnight. I didn’t think another Tailor product could trump my favourite Restore Melatonin Night Balm, but this is in the running as another must-have. Trust me, for those unsure whether to commit or want something extra in their routine; this is an easy-to-use, complexion game-changer.
