What a gorgeous way to celebrate Galentine’s Day with fun women on a summer’s afternoon. The Living Room at Park Hyatt Auckland is the perfect destination for a designer high tea, champagne, summer cocktails, fashion, and beauty with Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour views as the backdrop. The Menu
The Living Room at Park Hyatt Auckland has a stunning view of Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour and serves a famous award-winning high tea. Our guests indulged in the designer high tea created by Park Hyatt's award-winning executive pastry chef, Callum Liddicoat.
The menu included savoury roast chicken, celery and apple tartlets. Salmon gravlax doughnut bagels. Goats' cheese madeleine with charred corn and parmesan custard.
The sweet selection included roast peach champagne raspberry petit gateaux, strawberry salted vanilla, and blackberry roulade. Passionfruit, caramel, hazelnut dome with burnt vanilla. Warm oat crumble scones and gems with whipped mascarpone and jam. The moment our guests arrived, the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne flowed, followed by a choice of two summer cocktails, a pretty tropical cosmopolitan and a stunning margarita.

Nothing says Galentines like a beautiful designer fragrance and pop of colour on the lips. Our Life Pharmacy pop-up beauty bars offered just that. With a selection of fragrances from celebrity singer Billie Eilish, Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle and the latest Jean Paul Gaultier, Divine, our guests got to take a fragrance journey during the afternoon. Also, New Zealand brow and makeup artist and founder of Max and Louie showcased the latest Peptide Lip Whip, which was also available and in hot demand. This new lip glaze with skin-loving peptides, hyaluronic acid, and natural colour pigments. Watch this space; we think this is a winning beauty brand.
