Celebrity beauty is nothing new; there are some amazing brands, and some are so-so. But, when superstar Adele, makes a statement on the gram to watch this space for a beauty brand pending, we thought that was worth sharing. Here’s what we know so far, by editor Trudi Brewer.
We have lost count of the many celebrity beauty brands at our fingertips. We do have our faves like Rihanna's boundary-breaking Fenty Beauty pink perfection from Kylie Cosmetics, and the most dreamy lip formulas can be found at Haus Labs by Lady Gaga. Now it looks like another superstar is throwing her hat in the beauty aisle: Adele. The Grammy winner has recently filed a trademark for her own brand, which has left us wanting more details.
What can we Expect?
Earlier this week, the British tabloid The Mirror broke the news that Adele had filed a trademark for a beauty and accessories company, meaning she is in the early stages of brand development. The Mirror said: The singer - who has just finished a leg of her Las Vegas residency, has set up a new company and applied for a trademark in the name of The Shelbourne Collective. It would allow her to make her beauty products, which could include eyeshadows similar to the ones her make-up artist uses to create her smokey eyes look, along thick eyeliner.
So, we're betting the eyeliner will be one of the first to help us all recreate her iconic thick cat eye look, following eyeshadows to emulate her sultry smoky eyes and, of course, a range of nude to diva red matte lipsticks. The trademark didn't stop at the makeup. According to The Mirror, she can also venture into skincare and body care products, including perfume. If it's nearly as mesmerising as Adele's sounds, we may all want to spritz it on. The trademark also covers underwear; watch out, Skims', Adel is coming for you. What's more? We could all be coveting Adele watches and earrings because the trademark also encompasses bling.

What’s Adele's Beauty Brand Called?
It's not Adele Cosmetics. Following the recent trends of more low-key names who don't put their famous creators front and centre—think vegan brand Rare Beauty, by Selena Gomez. or a science-meets-nature line of genderless skincare Le Domaine by Brad Pitt or the 'glazed-doughnut-skin creating, rhode skin by Hailey Bieber. Instead, 'The Shelbourne Collective' is all we have to report. It is early days for another superstar brand. The trademark has just been filed, so don't hold your breath until you get your hands on anything tangible. But stay tuned; we will keep you updated - watch this space.
